Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
